Project Porchlight postponed tonight, Almaguin Food Drive on as scheduled

The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department is advising that due to the weather the 36th annual Project Porchlight Food Drive in support of the Salvation Army has been postponed.
The Town of Huntsville’s Health & Safety committee has rescheduled the food drive to Wednesday December 11th. You can still drop off donations at Huntsville Fire Hall Station #1, and all Lake of Bays stations.
For anyone in the Almaguin Highlands, the Food Drive in support of the Burk’s Falls and District Food Drive is still on and firefighters will be coming to your area to pick up donations starting at 6pm.
