Two dangerous inmates escape Beaver Creek

Authorities are searching for two inmates who escaped from the minimum-security unit at Beaver Creek Institution. During a routine 6:30 p.m. head count yesterday, staff discovered that 70-year-old Jay Sedore and 68-year-old Michael Karas were missing.
Sedore, serving a life sentence for first-degree murder, is 5’7”, 155 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. Karas, serving over 15 years for robbery and forcible confinement, is 5’10”, 178 lbs, with grey hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts should contact OPP.
Correctional Service Canada is investigating and working with law enforcement to locate the offenders.
