After being postponed due to snow in December, the Salvation Army South Muskoka Ministries finally held its door-to-door food drive on Monday, with dozens of volunteers braving the snowfall to collect donations.

Around 75 volunteers participated, including Bracebridge Mayor Rick Maloney, helping to stock the food bank, which spends thousands monthly on supplies. The event also encouraged community involvement, with young volunteers learning the importance of giving back.

Organizers say food donations remain crucial, and they hope to see more nutritious options in future collections.
