O.P.P. reminding ATV riders of off-road safety
The O.P.P. Central Region is ramping up efforts to raise awareness about Off-Road Vehicle safety.
O.P.P. say issues such as helmet use, alcohol and drug impairment, and loss of vehicle control remain top contributors to ORV accidents.
The O.P.P. urge riders to always wear a properly fitted helmet, avoid riding impaired, and carry necessary documents like registration and insurance.
They also advise riders to be cautious on roadways, adhere to speed limits, and ensure proper license plate display.
