Festive RIDE underway

The Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, in partnership with the OPP have launched the Provincial Festive R.I.D.E. campaign to promote safe driving this holiday season.
The campaign aims to raise awareness about the dangers of alcohol- and drug-impaired driving, which remains a leading cause of serious road collisions in Canada.
Police are reminding drivers to avoid getting behind the wheel if impaired. In Ontario, one in three fatalities on the road involves impaired driving.
