Cyclist's raise $1.5M for cancer research riding through Muskoka
This past Saturday, the Northern Pass to Conquer Cancer which took place throughout Muskoka set a new record by raising $1.5 million for cancer research. The event, benefiting The Princess Margaret, brought together over 450 cyclists, survivors, and supporters.
In its 8th year, the fundraiser featured scenic 40 to 160-kilometer routes through cottage country.
Organizers say the funds will support breakthrough research and life-saving treatments.
